I have always been active and eaten relatively healthy. However, in October 2018, I decided to get really serious about health and wellness. This is what kick-started my journey into learning more about my feminine, and overall, health. Excited to try something new, I decided meal prepping would be the easiest way to stick to my new goals.
After doing a lot of research, I found that eating chicken, rice, and broccoli was a great way to help build muscle, increase energy, and get vitamins and minerals. For months, I ate this meal combo, and overtime it became boring. One of the positives of quarantine has been my newfound excitement in the kitchen. While eating for my menstrual cycle to help balance my hormones, I have cooked up some new recipes and found ways to spice up some old ones.
Lately, I have been LOVING cooked carrots. So, when I was thinking of what to eat this week, I landed on stir-fry. Another reason I love this recipe is because it puts a tasty spin on my boring chicken, rice, and broccoli meal prep meal. Did I also mention that it only takes 30 minutes to make and everyone will love it?
Finding new recipes that the whole family can enjoy isn’t always easy. And if quarantine has taught us anything, it’s that creativity is key! So instead of reinventing the wheel, why not try preparing your old meals in a new way? Whether you meal prep or are looking for an easy, new recipe to make, give this chicken stir-fry recipe a try!
