If you have been using the lotion you put on your arms and legs on your face, now is the time to stop! Seriously, go invest in a face moisturizer. The skin on our face is more delicate than the skin on the rest of our body, so it’s important that we useproper lotions and moisturizers accordingly.
Unlike our face, the rest of our skin is thicker and drier, therefore requiring certain lotions and products to help keep it hydrated. While your face needs hydration too, we are are also combating things like acne, anti-aging, and improved elasticity. This is why it’s important to use moisturizes that are specifically created to help with those target areas.
While I use products specifically for acne prone skin, I would recommend any product from Eminence Organics. They are all made with ingredients that are natural and good for your skin. Below is a list of some of their moisturizers for different target areas.
- Clear Skin Probiotic Moisturizer – I cannot get enough of this product. After cleaning my face before bed, I apply a thin layer of this moisturizer. Without fail, my skin always looks less inflamed in the morning. Did I mention that it smells great?
- Bright Skin Moisturizer – If you have dark spots, give this product a try. The bearberry extract helps lighten the appearance of dark spots, while ingredients like licorice root and stone crop help sooth the skin and even out skin tones.
- Coconut Age Corrective Moisturizer – This is a great product if you’re looking to tighten your skin. Because of ingredients like coconut oil and natural retinol alternative complex, the skin gets both moisturized and lifted.
As I’ve mentioned before on the blog, my favorite all-over lotion is Everyone Lotion. Because it is made without harmful ingredients, you can rest assured your skin is only soaking up ingredients that will help it. I also love that this lotion is great for people with sensitive skin.
